I wish I could give more than 5 stars... Great coffee, great atmosphere! Cafe sub 5 is a small coffee shop where you can order a coffee and have one of the best sandwiches (my favorite is the tuna!). But more than that is the proprietor/owner who is just an amazing person (most days ;) ). Cafe Sub 5 is a great example of why Portugal is such an amazing country. A hidden gem.

Fantastic find of a local cafe during our time in Nazare. Good coffees and bolinhos. The owner (a lady) is most welcoming and friendly! She gave us great recommendations for dinner restaurant and what to order. Looked like many of customers are locals as well, or frequent customers who have become friends with the owner. My daughter left her sunglasses on counter while ordering, and a gentleman (either a friend or someone who works there) brought it to us to ask if we had left it behind. When my husband asked about a dish being eaten at another table, they brought some out for us to try even though it wasn't anything being served on their menu. Just a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Recommend without hesitation and hope to return again to say Hi the next time we're back in Nazare.

The owner speaks five languages very well. A small cafe but good coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer ext. Snacks and toasted sandwiches and very fair prices.

This is a lovely coffee spot with good coffee and friendly service. The lady running the Cafe speaks very good English . Place your order and take a seat at one of 4 outside tables or inside. It will be brought to you. Pay inside when you are done. It seems to be local spot. I especially appreciated the location where it is difficult for cars to drive by.
